Meet the orthodontist dedicated to confident, healthy smiles.
I always knew I wanted a career where I get to work closely with people and make a positive impact on their lives. Once I discovered the career of orthodontics, I knew it was a perfect fit for me. Not only am I able to create beautiful, perfect smiles, but I’m also able to help people feel more confident about themselves, which is something that I love about my job.
I was very fortunate to complete my undergrad, my dental school, and my orthodontic residency all the University of Detroit Mercy. I used to have administration at the school kind of, laugh at me and say, oh my gosh, you’re really a true Titan, because I spent nine years studying there. And honestly, they were the best nine years of my life.
Most importantly, my orthodontic residency, those two years were very unique for me. Orthodontic residency is not just about putting braces on kids. It really teaches you about growth, complex treatment planning, and all types of appliances and different aspects of orthodontics.
I was very fortunate to complete my training there, and I loved every minute of it. I want patients to always feel comfortable and heard when they see me, especially at their initial consultation. During your first appointment with me, the most important thing that I can do for you is asking the right questions.
Everyone has different goals and desires and wants out of their treatment, so if I’m able to ask the right questions, I really can get a good feel of what you want, and we can go from there, and it’s going to be a great outcome for you.
