At Royal Oak Orthodontics, our experienced orthodontists use advanced techniques and technologies to give you an outstanding smile. We use Invisalign clear aligners to straighten your teeth quickly and with minimal disruption to your daily life. Here is what you can expect:

• Initial Consultation – We’ll meet with you to assess your goals and determine if you are a good candidate for Invisalign. We’ll take digital X-rays and scans. Some patients have more complex needs that may require traditional metal braces. However, these popular clear aligners are suitable for many of our patients.
• Plan Your Treatment – Next, we will plan your treatment. We’ll also review the length of time you’ll wear your aligners. Most patients are done with treatment in 12 to 18 months. Using our outcome simulator, we can show you how your results will look before we even begin treatment.
• Start Wearing Aligners – Once your aligners have been made, you’ll pick them up at our office to begin treatment. You’ll need to wear them for at least 22 hours per day. You’ll wear each set of aligners about two weeks, then move on to the next ones in your series. You’ll also return to our office for progress updates to ensure everything is going smoothly.

Once your treatment is complete, we’ll give you a custom-made retainer that keeps your teeth in their ideal position. Your orthodontist will discuss how long you need to wear it.
